The Role
You'll manage your own portfolio of bookkeeping clients while working closely with the offshore bookkeeping team and internal accounting professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse client portfolio.
- Processing payroll and managing BAS, IAS, STP, Payroll Tax, TPAR and WorkCover obligations.
- Preparing reconciliations, management reports and financial information.
- Reviewing work to ensure high-quality client outcomes.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and delivering exceptional service.
- Leading client onboarding, bookkeeping file reviews and process improvements.
- Collaborating with the offshore team to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Experience managing multiple bookkeeping clients within a public practice accounting or bookkeeping firm.
- Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll and statutory compliance obligations.
- Experience using Xero and other cloud accounting platforms.
- Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
- The ability to prioritise work effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
