Our client is Melbourne based and offers innovative fund management solutions across APAC. 

Role Overview
Serve as a trusted Compliance advisor to Investments and Funds business stakeholders. Provide guidance and oversight of regulated activities across investment management trading in APAC markets. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance processes, as well as compliance monitoring functions. This is a 6 month daily rate contract, looking for an urgent commencement. 

Responsibilities

· Advise Product and Investment functions on applicable laws, regulations and corporate policies as applicable. 
· Participate in business strategic initiatives, provide Compliance input and representation. 
· Manage regulatory visits and inspections. Prepare written inspection and assessment reports and provides recommendations for improvement. 
· Oversee the design, implementation, execution, and maintenance of Investments related compliance policies and procedures. 
· Review incidents and events reported including root cause and corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues. 
· Maintain a deep knowledge and awareness of the Investment industry- ideally ETF and MIS

 
Skills & Experience
· Minimum of 4 years within an Australian funds management compliance function
· Must have prior experience advising on responsible entity, managed investment schemes or ETF compliance obligations
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
-Strong written communication skills
