This major trusted bank operates a relationship‑led emerging corporate model focused on emerging corporate and mid‑market clients. This team is highly structured and customer focused with 4 being aligned to 1 portfolio/set and strongly supported by product specialists, credit teams and invest­ed systems, enabling high‑quality, complex lending outcomes.
   
Role Overview
This is a senior credit relationship role managing a portfolio of sophisticated commercial clients. Working with dedicated support, you will own relationships while structuring and assessing complex debt structures and support both frontline and within a credit capacity to workshop deals and execute.
Key responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of emerging corporate and mid‑market clients
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners and senior decision‑makers
  • Structure and assess complex credit facilities across working capital, trade finance and cash management
  • Partner with product, credit and lending teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Prepare and assess credit proposals and portfolio analysis
  • Manage compliance requirements, credit quality and audit outcomes
  • Maintain strong awareness of industry trends, economic conditions and risk drivers
   
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in commercial or mid‑market banking
  • Strong credit analysis and financial statement assessment capability
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex banking facilities
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory and risk frameworks
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a portfolio environment
  • Experience leading or supporting relationship teams is highly regarded
