- Senior Data Capability Uplift Lead – Enterprise Data Governance & Capability Transformation
- Must have experience implementing Enterprise Data Governance Frameworks, Data Management Tooling & Business Adoption
- 12 Month + Daily Rate Contract
Role Overview:
- Lead the design, delivery and implementation of the enterprise-wide data capability uplift stream, ensuring alignment to strategic business priorities
- Drive the uplift of enterprise data governance, data management practices, tooling, standards and operational capabilities
- Act as a key representative of the Data Office, partnering closely with business leaders, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
- Provide strategic leadership across data governance, operating models, business readiness and capability adoption initiatives
- Lead implementation and embedding of new governance practices and ways of working into day-to-day operations
- Oversee rollout planning, prioritisation and sequencing activities to support delivery objectives and organisational readiness
- Drive business acceptance of deliverables including testing, feedback, implementation readiness and operational transition activities
- Lead stakeholder engagement across steering committees, working groups and project forums to ensure alignment and delivery momentum
- Provide clear, business-focused communication and reporting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
- Identify delivery risks, issues and dependencies whilst developing pragmatic mitigation and remediation plans
- Support sustained business adoption through strong change leadership, stakeholder engagement and operational enablement
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience designing, implementing and operating enterprise data governance frameworks Must have
- Strong hands-on experience with data governance and data management tooling within complex enterprise environments Must have
- Proven capability leading enterprise data uplift, governance or transformation initiatives across large-scale organisations Must have
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms and architectures including cloud, data warehouse and data lake environments
- Experience driving implementation, adoption and embedding of governance frameworks and operational processes across business functions
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills – able to engage, influence and partner with senior executives, business leaders, delivery teams and technical SME’s
- Strong communication capability with the ability to translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, practical business language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to identify strategic and operational risks and develop practical solutions
