Profusion have partnered exclusively with Financial Services who are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in scaling a modern, cloud-based data platform and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
This is a newly created role within a growing Data & Analytics team, where you’ll take ownership of hands-on engineering, build robust data pipelines, and work closely with business stakeholders to onboard new data sources at pace.

- New data sources are onboarded accurately, on time, and at scale
- Data pipelines are robust, well-documented, and production-ready
- Stakeholders trust and actively use the data platform
- Reusable components and frameworks improve team efficiency
- Data issues are identified early and resolved proactively
- Expert-level Python and SQL, with strong software engineering discipline
- Proven experience building data pipelines using tools such as dbt and Airflow
- Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-native data platforms
- Strong experience with Snowflake or Databricks
- Solid understanding of data modelling, quality, lineage, and governance
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Comfort operating autonomously and managing multiple priorities
