A well-established and growing Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a close-knit finance team. The role will play a key part in financial reporting, controls and providing insights, with genuine scope to grow into a leadership position.
The Opportunity:
Working closely with the Head of Finance and broader business, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, maintain financial integrity and contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.
The Role:
- Prepare monthly financial and statutory reporting
- Provide analysis and commercial insights
- Manage tax compliance, including BAS and FBT
- Oversee reconciliations and financial accuracy
- Lead the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
- Drive process and finance improvements
- CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong financial reporting and month-end experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
- Emerging leadership capability
- High attention to detail, with accuracy critical in all aspects of work
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
