Role Overview
This is a senior, hands-on engineering role with a strong emphasis on solution design and technical leadership .
You’ll take ownership of the frontend engineering across a modern digital platform, working closely with product and design teams to deliver scalable, high-performing applications.
This role will see you work on truly leading-edge projects and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build modern web applications using React, Next.js and TypeScript
- Set frontend engineering standards, tooling, and best practices
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code quality standards
- Define and implement a Micro Frontends architecture
- Lead collaboration across engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions
- Contribute to broader full-stack and platform architecture discussions
- 7+ years frontend engineering experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js
- Proven experience in frontend architecture and solution design
- Hands-on experience implementing Micro Frontends in production
- Experience building and maintaining design systems / component libraries
- Strong understanding of performance, accessibility, and scalable UI architecture
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading code reviews and setting engineering standards
- Exposure to cloud-based or serverless environments (AWS preferred)
- Passion for mentoring and elevating team capability
- Financial Services industry experience highly regarded
