We are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Finance Specialist or Origination Manager to join a high-performing team as their first hire in Queensland. In this role, you will originate and structure new transactions, leveraging your strong network across brokers and property developers to deliver high-quality, high-value opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to establish a Queensland presence, drive growth, and build out the team.
The Role:
- Source and structure new transactions to meet funding requirements.
- Leverage and grow broker and developer networks to deliver quality deals.
- Drive deal closure in a sales-focused environment using BDM experience.
- Assess and structure first mortgages, bridging, construction, second, and land loans.
- Manage SME deals and loans up to $15M across bridging, residual stock, construction, and land.
- Proven experience in commercial finance, structuring, and funding deals.
- Strong knowledge of property development and finance, with a track record of leveraging relationships to close deals.
- Excellent sales skills, able to identify, pitch, and close high-value transactions.
- Clear communicator, able to simplify complex financial structures for clients.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, able to work independently.
