Join a high-performing boutique financial planning practice with a 30-year heritage of delivering bespoke advice to a discerning, high-net-worth clientele. We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Paraplanner / Advice Manager
to step into a pivotal role, replacing a long-standing team member who is transitioning into retirement.
About the Role
This is not your standard paraplanning role. You’ll work within a supportive team to shape and support high-quality advice outcomes, manage the advice review process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Review management – oversee the end-to-end client review process and project manage ongoing service agreements
- Advice vetting – pre-vet outsourced SOAs and generate precise paraplanning requests.
- Modelling and strategy – develop cashflow models and tailor strategic advice alongside the principal adviser.
- Portfolio construction – opportunity to grow skills here if not already developed.
- Product and platform research – especially for non-APL recommendations and complex structures.
- Compliance interpretation – interpret licensee policy documents and understand the compliance framework around wholesale advice.
You are an experienced paraplanner or advice professional however they are prepared to develop your skills if the desire exists.
- Brings experience in a technical advice role
- Understands SMSFs, trusts, and wholesale client structures
- Enjoys complex, strategy-led work, not churn-and-burn advice
- Is comfortable navigating XPLAN, data feeds, and compliance documentation
- Thrives in a professional, respectful, and flexible team environment
- Wants to be a long-term part of something meaningful
