Company Overview
A well‑established non‑bank lender specialising in property‑based investments for over two decades. The business partners closely with investors, advisers, developers, and brokers to deliver tailored lending solutions across construction and commercial property markets.
Role Overview
As Senior Portfolio Manager, you will source, structure, and manage commercial property lending opportunities. Working with developers, brokers, valuers, and internal stakeholders, you will oversee loans from origination through to settlement, construction drawdowns, and repayment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source new lending opportunities through established networks
- Recommend service providers and prepare governance submissions
- Negotiate facility terms, pricing, and conditions with borrowers
- Prepare loan submissions for the Lending Committee
- Manage loans end‑to‑end including construction drawdowns
- Monitor covenants to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Report to Executive, Lending, Treasury and Board committees
Skills & Experience
- 5–10+ years’ commercial property development lending experience
- Strong broker and professional networks
- Advanced credit analysis and structuring capability
- Highly proactive, collaborative, and team‑focused
