Role Overview:
Play a critical role in maintaining market data infrastructure, resolve escalated desktop issues, and deliver upgrades and new deployments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain market data infrastructure, including distribution platforms, enterprise feeds, trading venues, FIX post-trade feeds, and desktop applications.
- Troubleshoot escalated issues and manage upgrades, deployments, and weekend change activities to ensure system reliability and minimal disruption.
- Perform capacity planning and system monitoring, ensuring performance and availability of market data services.
- Integrate APIs and tools from Refinitiv (LSEG) and Bloomberg, supporting data delivery and desktop product functionality.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Production Support Engineer in banking or financial services.
- Skilled in supporting market data tools like Refinitiv Eikon, Bloomberg, or IRESS.
- Strong experience supporting applications on Red Hat Linux and Bash scripting
- Versatile in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, C#, or VB.
- Proficient in designing integration solutions with LSEG (Refinitiv) and Bloomberg APIs (e.g., RFA, SDKs, B-Pipe, BLPAPI).
- Strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS is a plus.
