Senior Project Manager – Climate Disclosure & Financial Reporting
There is an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager focused on climate disclosure and financial reporting compliance. This is a crucial, high-visibility role working closely with the CFO and senior stakeholders to lead the program ensuring the organisation meets Australia’s new mandatory climate-related disclosure requirements.
- Contract: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)
- Daily rate: Market rate
- Working arrangement: Flexible / hybrid
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end regulatory uplift program for climate disclosure compliance.
- Establish and maintain program foundations including scope, governance, milestones, and risk management.
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including Investments, Risk, Finance, Operations, Sustainability, Data & Technology.
- Deliver enhancements to risk frameworks, controls, processes, and reporting, and build a sustainable operating model for annual climate disclosures.
- Support scenario analysis, emissions measurement, and transition risk methodologies, and prepare the organisation for assurance and regulatory sign-off.
- Mandatory legislation with no opt-out, requiring robust governance, auditability, and high-quality reporting.
- High board-level visibility with direct impact on risk appetite, investment decision-making, and regulatory compliance.

- Senior Project Manager with strong regulatory delivery experience and confidence engaging senior Finance, Risk, and Investment leaders.
- Proven experience leading data- and reporting-centric transformation or regulatory uplift programs.
- Strong ability to translate evolving regulatory standards into practical delivery plans, governance structures, and operating models.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with solid project governance, risk management, and PMO discipline.
- Climate or sustainability expertise is a plus, but regulatory or financial reporting experience is paramount.
