A leading Australian financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Manager – Regulatory Relations to strengthen its engagement with key prudential regulators and support high-quality regulatory outcomes across the business.
This role will suit someone with strong superannuation experience and a deep understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape.

About the Role:
You will play a central role in managing the organisation’s interactions with APRA, ASIC and other regulatory bodies. Operating as a trusted advisor, you will guide internal stakeholders, ensure response quality, uplift regulatory capability, and contribute to a consistent and transparent regulatory engagement framework.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support constructive, timely and transparent engagement with regulatory bodies (APRA, ASIC).
• Lead the coordination and drafting of responses to regulatory requests, Notices, breach notifications and inquiries.
• Provide strategic advice on regulatory themes and emerging issues relevant to superannuation and financial services.
• Interpret regulatory expectations and deliver guidance, training and support to business stakeholders.
• Maintain oversight of the organisation’s Regulatory Engagement Framework and monitor non-compliance or gaps.
• Contribute to Board, Executive and Committee reporting on regulatory activity and commitments.
• Maintain high-quality records of regulatory interactions and ensure consistent messaging across the business.
• Coach and mentor team members to uplift capability and support strong regulatory outcomes.

About You
• Strong background in superannuation with a solid understanding of regulatory and prudential requirements.
• Experience working directly with APRA, ASIC or in a Regulatory Relations, Compliance, Risk or Governance role.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to synthesise complex information.
• Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and providing clear, practical guidance.
• Strong analytical capability, sound judgement and high attention to detail.
