Role Overview
As Senior Manager – Regulatory Relations, you will lead engagement with APRA, ASIC and other regulatory bodies, manage formal responses, provide expert guidance on regulatory expectations, and support uplift of the organisation’s oversight and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage constructive, timely and transparent engagement with APRA and ASIC
- Lead coordination and drafting of responses, Notices, breach reports and regulatory inquiries
- Provide strategic advice on regulatory themes, superannuation obligations and emerging issues
- Interpret regulatory expectations and deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders
- Maintain oversight of the Regulatory Engagement Framework and associated processes
- Prepare reporting for Executive, Board and Committees
- Maintain accurate records of regulatory interactions and internal commitments
- Coach and mentor team members to uplift capability
- Strong background in superannuation and prudential/regulatory requirements
- Experience engaging directly with APRA, ASIC or in a regulatory, compliance, risk or governance role
- Excellent written communication and ability to synthesise complex information
- Strong senior‑stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail, analytical capability and sound judgement
- Senior visibility and influence across the organisation
