Job Description
You will be a key member of the SMSF team of 4, responsible for managing end-to-end fund compliance and supporting client outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of SMSF financial statements and tax returns
- Managing compliance requirements including TBAR, pension calculations and activity statements
- Investment and bank reconciliations
- Preparing workpapers and trial balances
- Identifying SMSF strategies including pensions and tax outcomes
- Working closely with internal teams where required
Successful Applicant
- 3–5+ years’ SMSF experience within public practice
- Strong understanding of SMSF compliance and legislation
- Experience with Class or similar software (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Client-focused with good communication skills
