We’re partnering with a major financial services organisation to hire three Senior Software Engineers for a brand-new greenfield API development initiative .
This is not BAU, not maintenance, not patchwork coding —you’ll be designing, building, and delivering end-to-end modern APIs in a cloud-native environment.
If you want to work on high-impact engineering in a large-scale enterprise environment, this is the role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, building, and delivering new RESTful APIs end-to-end
- Working across .NET full-stack , AWS, and modern cloud-native tooling
- Implementing clean architecture, DDD, microservices, and modern engineering best practices
- Contributing to solution design, integration patterns, and API security
- Owning the full lifecycle from design → build → deploy → support for your services
✔ Strong .NET full-stack engineering background
✔ Cloud-native AWS experience , including compute, storage, database, networking, security, integrations
✔ Robust understanding of:
- RESTful URL architecture
- API status codes and troubleshooting
- End-to-end integration flows
- Security assessment + remediation for API breaches
✔ Experience with AWS databases (DynamoDB, RDS PostgreSQL/MySQL, Aurora)
✔ Strong understanding of:
- REST principles
- Clean architecture
- Domain-driven design
- Microservices
Nice to Have:
- ReactJS or NodeJS experience (optional / lower priority)
