Job Description
This opportunity will see you work closely with experienced Directors across a broad range of private client and family group matters. You’ll have exposure to structuring, business and investment planning, complex tax advisory work, ATO interactions and high-level compliance reviews.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of private clients and closely held businesses
- Delivering commercial tax advice across structuring, transactions and wealth planning
- Reviewing technical work and ensuring quality and accuracy
- Being a trusted contact for clients, referrers and stakeholders
- Supporting junior team members through guidance and coaching
Successful Applicant
You’ll be someone who enjoys solving complex tax problems and building strong client relationships. Ideally, you bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in Tax Advisory within a public practice environment (Private Tax preferred)
- Solid technical grounding with a desire to deepen your expertise
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and commercial judgement
- A collaborative approach, with readiness to mentor juniors
- A values-aligned mindset centred on integrity and accountability
- CA ANZ/ CPA is preferred
- CTA/ Master of Tax is highly regarded
- Law Degree (LLB/JD) or PLT pathway candidates encouraged to apply
