This role sits within the enterprise systems function and is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end delivery of ERP transformation projects. The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and governance to ensure timely, quality outcomes aligned with business and strategic priorities. The position requires both a strong technical foundation and the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and vendors.
Experience delivering large‑scale ERP implementations or upgrades (e.g., Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Workday) will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of ERP projects, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and budget.
- Define detailed project plans, delivery milestones, and resource requirements, coordinating project teams to achieve key outcomes.
- Collaborate across finance, operations, and technology to align ERP system design with business processes and reporting needs.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and integration partners to support seamless deployment and data migration.
- Identify project risks and issues, establish mitigation strategies, and communicate ongoing status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Support post‑implementation transition to BAU operations, ensuring training, documentation, and performance monitoring are in place.
- Use project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps to track tasks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager leading ERP implementations or major HCM and Finance system integrations.
- Strong understanding of ERP modules and workflows across financial management, procurement, HR, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge technical and business discussions, translating strategic goals into executable project plans.
- Hands‑on experience with project governance frameworks, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with data migration, integration design, and system testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive outcomes in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred).
