About the Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to step into a role within a successful and growing wealth management business—part of a broader national financial services group offering wealth management, investment and superannuation advice and services.
With over 2,500 funds currently administered and advised—and expanding—this organisation is known for its technical excellence, strong adviser relationships, and ongoing investment in system efficiency.
You’ll report to the Director and act as 2IC, with supervision of two experienced Team Leaders and a broader team of 12 professionals under your leadership. Your impact will be felt across operations, systems, people development, and adviser support.

- Serve as a key technical resource on complex matters—internally and to aligned advisers across the group
- Oversee workflow, compliance, and client service
- Partner with the Director on strategy, growth, and innovation initiatives
- Continuously improve systems and processes to support scalable, efficient operations
- Collaborate with advisers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth fund administration and delivery

- Proven experience — team leadership or second-in-charge looking to grow within a large group with a national presence
- Strong technical knowledge of SMSF tax, structuring, strategies, compliance and regulatory obligations
- Confidence working with and supporting financial/investment advisers
- Experience with Class, BGL or equivalent platforms
- A solutions-oriented person who is collaborative, enjoys being hands on and overseeing, developing and empowering a team
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- CA/CPA qualified
- Be part of a thriving, forward-thinking SMSF operation backed by a respected national group
- Direct line to decision-makers with a clear voice in strategy and process improvement

- Real opportunity for short and long-term (equity) incentives
- Flexible work arrangements and industry-leading systems
- Make your mark in a business that values people, performance, and purpose
