We are partnering with a globally recognised, top-tier investment bank to appoint a Vice President into its high-performing Infrastructure & Energy team in Sydney.
The team has a strong and demonstrated track record, advising global institutional investors on M&A, capital raises, and strategic transactions across key Australian infrastructure sectors, including ports, toll roads, regulated utilities, renewable energy, power assets, and digital infrastructure.
This is a rare opportunity to join a market-leading franchise with deep client relationships across Australia and internationally, advising on some of the most high-profile transactions in the region across renewables, power, and broader infrastructure.
The Role as a Vice President, you will play a key role in originating and executing complex transactions, working closely with senior bankers and leading junior team members across all aspects of deal delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across infrastructure and energy sponsors, corporates, and institutional investors
- Preparing and delivering high-quality pitch materials and strategic advice
- Structuring and analysing complex financing solutions across equity and debt
- Managing and mentoring analysts and associates
- Acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Renewable energy platforms (wind, solar, battery storage)
- Power generation and utilities
- Transport and social infrastructure assets
- Large-scale acquisitions, divestments, and capital raisings
We are seeking high-calibre candidates with
- 6–10+ years’ experience within investment banking, infrastructure advisory or a leading advisory platform
- Strong M&A and/or financing execution experience
- Deep financial modelling and valuation capabilities
- Proven ability to manage transactions and client relationships independently
- Prior exposure to infrastructure, energy, or real assets preferred
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
