Role Overview
As VP – M&A Coverage, you will take a front‑seat role in origination and execution, leading analysis, client materials, deal management and relationship development across your sector group.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead M&A deal execution from early analysis to completion
- Drive origination efforts through client engagement and opportunity identification
- Manage valuation workstreams including DCF, comps and transaction analysis
- Oversee preparation of pitch books, IMs and strategic advisory materials
- Lead due diligence, process management and stakeholder coordination
- Mentor analysts and associates, ensuring high‑quality output
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive experience in investment banking or M&A advisory
- Strong valuation, modelling and analytical capability
- Proven background in deal execution and client engagement
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead junior team members and manage multiple workstreams
- Exposure to major M&A transactions
- High‑impact role with senior client visibility
