The firm is widely regarded as a market leader in complex enterprise transformation, performance acceleration, restructuring, and value creation advisory, partnering with corporates, boards, private equity sponsors, lenders, and sovereign-backed institutions across high-stakes situations. The business operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, transactions, and execution, with a reputation for solving problems where conventional consulting approaches often fall short.

This opportunity is suited to commercially minded strategy consultants who thrive in analytically rigorous, fast-paced, and outcome-oriented environments and are looking to broaden their exposure beyond traditional corporate strategy mandates.

The Role As a Vice President, you will lead complex strategic and operational engagements across a diverse range of industries, working directly with senior executives, investors, and board stakeholders on critical business issues including:
  • Enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Performance improvement and margin enhancement
  • Growth and market expansion strategy
  • Cost optimisation and operating model redesign
  • Turnaround and restructuring situations
  • Commercial and operational due diligence
  • M&A integration and carve-out execution
  • Portfolio company value creation
  • Cash flow and working capital improvement
  • Strategic response to market disruption and underperformance
Unlike traditional strategy consulting environments, this platform combines strategic advisory with hands-on execution capability, requiring consultants who are equally comfortable developing board-level recommendations and driving implementation within operational businesses.
Vice Presidents are expected to operate as senior engagement leaders, overseeing workstreams, managing client relationships, leading teams through ambiguity, and contributing meaningfully to practice development and origination efforts.

Candidate Profile:

The firm is specifically interested in candidates coming from top-tier strategy and performance improvement consulting environments or prior background in these firms.

Successful candidates will typically possess:
  • 7–12+ years of consulting or strategic advisory experience
  • Strong exposure to enterprise transformation or performance improvement engagements
  • Exceptional commercial problem-solving capability
  • Experience managing complex analytical workstreams and senior client stakeholders
  • Advanced financial and operational acumen
  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, high-ambiguity situations
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capability across high-performing teams
  • A pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Exposure to private equity, restructuring, operational turnaround, corporate strategy, or transaction advisory environments will be viewed favourably.

We are committed to providing a supportive culture and positively contributing towards creating diverse and inclusive workplaces for our candidates & clients. We invite candidates of all ages, genders, sexual orientation, cultural backgrounds, people with disability, neurodiverse individuals, and Indigenous Australians to apply.
